People tend to change their usernames quite often, and many platforms allow users to do so. Unfortunately, this isn’t the case with Spotify. The music streaming service doesn’t allow the users to change their usernames once they made their account.
Although you can’t change Spotify username directly, there are three ways you can get the job done.
Sign up for Spotify with Facebook
When you are signing up on Spotify, you can either use your email address or Facebook account to create a new account. If you sign up using your email, Spotify automatically generates a username for you.
This username will consist of random numbers, and letters which is hard to remember, and also nobody likes it.
On the other hand, if you sign up using your Facebook account, then Spotify picks up your Facebook name as your username. This option allows you to have the username you want in your new Spotify account.
